Description
Merlot 2023 by J. Hofstatter, a still red from Trentino-Alto Adige, 14% ABV, 100% Merlot. A Merlot that expresses the elegance of its terroir through a compact, warm, and concentrated bouquet with notes of blackberry jelly and nuances reminiscent of undergrowth. Fermentation for 10 days at a controlled temperature, with aging allowing the color, aroma, and flavor to be extracted from the skins. Very fine tannic structure on the palate with a long, elegant finish. Ideal with grilled red meats and savory main courses.
