| Story | The label features an optical study taken from the Encyclopédie Diderot, a vast encyclopaedia published in the 18th century and representing the culmination of a long journey to create a universal compendium of knowledge, as well as the first example of a modern encyclopaedia to be widely circulated. The inspiration for this label came from the film 'The Draughtsman's Contract' (The Mysteries of Compton House Garden) by British director Peter Greenaway, which reproposes, in an eighteenth-century key, the theme of the relationship between reality, ambiguous in itself, and its representation, which, far from allowing it to be deciphered, makes it even more complex and impenetrable. |
