Story | Legend has it that Judas, once he died, repented of his betrayal to Jesus and was therefore forgiven. He was later resurrected in Broni, in Oltrepò Pavese, where the citizens, having recognised him, tried to kill him. Judas, however, healed the vines from disease, so, in gratitude, the local people gave his name to the wine. Hence, the name Blood of Judas. |
