Description
Still red wine produced by Frank Cornelissen in Sicily. 15% ABV, 100% Nerello Mascalese. 0.75 L bottle, 2021 vintage. A wine born from the passion and philosophy of Frank Cornelissen, a pioneer of Etna, who produces uncompromising wines with respect for nature. The vineyards are located in the northern valley of the active volcano Etna. Destemming and light pressing of the grapes. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts and contact with the skins for approximately 50 days. Aged in neutral fiberglass tanks for 18 months, followed by another 18 months in bottle. A wine that tells the story of a unique terroir.

Our farming philosophy is based on our acceptance of the fact that man will never be able to understand nature’s full complexity and interactions.
