Description
Fortified white wine from Marsala DOC in Sicily, 19% ABV, 100% Grillo. Produced by Florio, founded in 1833 and based in Marsala. 0.50 L bottle, 2004 vintage. A Marsala Vergine Riserva born from the experience of a historic winery overlooking the sea in western Sicily. Aged for over 10 years in precious 300-liter oak barrels and at least 1 year in bottle. Intense and ethereal, of great finesse, with subtle hints of vanilla, burnt honey, and toasted hazelnut. Bright antique gold color with topaz highlights. Dry and smooth, with hints of licorice and almond fused into a delicate and harmonious vanilla note.
