Description
What kind of spirit is this
Fior di Nocciola Liquore Cremoso by Terre Cevico is a distinctively sweet liqueur crafted in Emilia-Romagna. By blending Italian hazelnuts with dairy cream, it achieves a warm brown colour and an intense hazelnut aroma. On the palate, the liqueur offers a creamy texture that harmonises perfectly with its 17% ABV, providing a gentle alcoholic warmth. With its impressive aromatic persistence, the velvety profile is best enjoyed well chilled as an after-dinner drink or drizzled over desserts.
Where it comes from
Hailing from the Romagna region, this liqueur is produced by Terre Cevico, a historic co-operative established in 1963. By sourcing exclusively Italian hazelnuts, the producer maintains a strong connection to local agricultural expertise. This careful selection of ingredients defines its recognisable nutty profile and lingering aroma. The character of the liqueur consistently showcases a sweet flavour profile, allowing the authentic hazelnut identity to shine alongside a balanced alcoholic warmth.
How it is produced
Fior di Nocciola Liquore Cremoso is crafted by processing nut derivatives and blending them with dairy cream to achieve a homogeneous consistency. The integration of quality hazelnuts ensures the pronounced, authentic flavour of the final liqueur. Set at a precise 17% ABV, the recipe maintains a moderate strength that perfectly complements its natural sweetness. To preserve its aromatic intensity and velvety mouthfeel, it should be kept in refrigerated storage, ensuring it remains in optimal condition for sipping neat or for use in fine confectionery.
