Tasting notes

Profumo

Perfume

Complex bouquet with fruity and spicy notes in harmony with each other. Cinnamon stands out among them all.

Colore

Color

Intense ruby red with light violet reflections.

Gusto

Taste

The structure is not intended to conquer by power but by elegance. Mentholated notes on the palate amplify the wine's freshness. Soft, enveloping, savoury, rightly tannic on the palate.

The history of Feudo Montoni began in Sicily under Catalan rule by the Aragonese, with the construction of the original Baglio by the Abatellis family. In those same cellars, the varieties described by Andrea Bacci in his De Naturali Vinorum Historia in 1595 are still vinified today.

At the end of the 19th century, the estate passed into the hands of the Sireci family, in the person of Rosario, the grandfather of the current owner Fabio. With Fabio, this continuous evolution continues in the name of the most rigorous integration with nature, so much so that, since 2013, the entire production has been certified organic.

The company's philosophy is based on the use of natural forces for wine production: "gravity" as a means of transport, "time" as a refiner, winter and the "mountains" as a refrigerator.
