Description
Still white Greco di Tufo DOCG, 12.5% ABV, produced by Feudi di San Gregorio. 100% Greco di Tufo. 0.75 L bottle, 2023 vintage. A wine that embodies the southern Italian winemaking renaissance, born in the hills of Irpinia. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 16-18°C. Vinification takes place over approximately 4-5 months in stainless steel, with maturation on its lees and repeated batonnage to resuspend the fine lees. The aroma is intense and persistent, with distinct fruity notes, from green plum to "Mast'Antuono" pear, and bold balsamic notes of mint. Yellow in color with golden highlights. The acidity and pronounced minerality typical of the area are immediately apparent on the palate.
