Origin | Grapes are all grown on the estate at Numana. The vineyards lie on the foothills of Monte Conero about one km from the coast |
Soil composition | Formed in the medium-upper Pliocene Epoch, the soil differs from lime-clay to sandy lime-clay according to the site. |
Wine making | Highly selected, fully ripened grapes are crushed, then fermented in stainless steel tanks. Skin contact: 8-9 days. |
Aging | After completion of the malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in small French oak barrels for around 18-24 months. A further 6 months of aging in the bottle completes the evolution of this wine. |
