Description
A still red from the heart of Tuscany, a 2019 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, 14.5% ABV, produced by the historic Fattoria dei Barbi. A wine that carries the history of a family with ties to these lands since 1352. Rich in dark fruit such as blackberry, blueberry, and plum, with notes of licorice, raspberry jam, and light spicy nuances. The Brunello Riserva is aged in small, medium, and large-capacity barrels for at least three years, followed by a minimum of six months in bottle. On the palate, it is full-bodied, warm, and complex, with great structure and a lively acidity that complements tamed tannins. A distinctive wine, perfect for pairing with red meats and aged cheeses.
