Description
White grappa from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, 50% ABV, produced by Domenis 1898. A spirit that tells the story of a family and a region, a tribute to tradition and innovation. Founded in 1898, each generational transition has enhanced tradition, sparking innovations born from a deepening understanding of the production process and the raw materials used. Thus, in 1986, with brothers Silvano and Pietro Domenis working behind the stills, Storica was born, the spirit that established Domenis as a synonym for quality, a standard-bearer of Made in Italy, an expression of the culture and tradition of our country and a unique region. Refined on the nose. Clear and crystalline in color. Strong in intensity, characterized by an intense and complex aromatic profile. Harmonious in persistence.

Domenis also offers its experience in sustaining national and regional appreciation of grappa: Domenis Silvano, president for 25 years of the Consortium for the Protection of Grappa Friulana, cooperates with the European Council regulation bodies which in 1989 restricted the use of the name "grappa" only to grape pomace distillates produced in Italy. Now the fourth generation of the Cividale del Friuli family, under the mnagement of Cristina Domenis, marks this moment of further growth.
Our organisation has new goals: the grafting of new skills, a growing sensitivity to environmental protection, systems for quality control, and a market approach that explores new ways to drink grappa. Read more
