From this winery
Xavier Durand began his oenological career at a very young age and his efforts soon concentrated on his seven hectares of property, inherited from his grandfather Alexis who bought the vineyards in the Côte de Nuits-Villages, Bourgogne and Ladoix appellations, to which Corton and Aloxe-Corton were added in the 1980s on the initiative of his father René. In 2009, when he took over the family estate in Comblanchien, he produced his first vintage that was immediately acclaimed by critics. Read more
