Description
What kind of wine it is
Vermentino Le Vedute by Della Gherardesca appears in the glass with a brilliant straw yellow hue, hinting at a lively and well-defined sensory profile. This still white wine, an authentic expression of Vermentino grapes, opens on the nose with inviting floral aromas harmoniously intertwined with delicate notes of tropical fruit. On the palate, it reveals a fresh and savoury sip, maintaining its elegant taste and capable of evolving in the bottle for three to five years. Its natural versatility makes it ideal for pairing with dishes based on lean fish or for balancing the softness of flavourful cheeses.
Where it comes from
The roots of this white wine lie in the land of Tuscany, within the evocative area between the territories of Bolgheri and Castagneto. In this region, the Della Gherardesca family continues a careful viticulture, whose historical origins date back to the seventeenth century. Vermentino Le Vedute is part of a collection designed to showcase the many facets of the region through a modern vision, enhancing each individual terroir. The area's deep winemaking vocation is reflected in a territorial identity of great expressive clarity.
How it is produced
The production process focuses on enhancing the Vermentino grapes, carefully cultivated to preserve their natural aromatic integrity. The winemaking aims to highlight the linear structure and extremely clean stylistic imprint that characterise this type. To fully appreciate its organoleptic qualities and distinctive gustatory tension, an ideal serving temperature between 10 and 12 °C is recommended. This wine guarantees a smooth and immediate tasting experience, as it does not require decanting and can be poured directly into the glass.

A vivid example of this bond is the Castle of Castagneto Carducci, a symbol of Tuscan values and beauty, an area where the family began practising rational viticulture as early as the 1600s, investing in the creation of vineyards between Bolgheri and Castagneto.
This bond now takes concrete form in the birth of a collection bearing the ‘della Gherardesca’ signature, the result of a meeting between Gaddo della Gherardesca and Prosit Group, with the aim of narrating Tuscany through different perspectives and territories, through a contemporary and original approach in the style of the wines and in the identity of the brand.
There are four wines in the collection: the ‘Gaddo’, Bolgheri Rosso with an elegant and convivial character. A rosé with a strong personality, called "Sibilla". The Vermentino "Le Vedute" in all its modernity. The Brunello di Montalcino, a great Tuscan classic, could not be missing. Read more
