Description

Still red Barbera d'Alba DOC, Piedmont, 14.5% ABV, 100% Barbera. Produced by Damilano, a historic Barolo winery since 1890. 0.75 L bottle, 2023 vintage. A Barbera that embodies the tradition and excellence of Piedmont, with a winemaking process that enhances its freshness and complexity. Fermentation at a controlled temperature for 15 days. Ample and complex, with fruity aromas of blackberry and cherry and spicy notes reminiscent of cinnamon, vanilla, and green pepper. Purple-ruby color. Full-bodied with a pleasant freshness and savory finish. A wine that pairs perfectly with meat dishes, pasta with rich sauces, and aged cheeses.
