Description
Still white Terre Siciliane IGT, 12.5% ABV, produced by Cusumano on the Ficuzza Estate, 2021 vintage. A wine that expresses Sicily through a blend of native grapes: 34% Zibibbo, 33% Ansonica/Inzolia, 33% Grillo. The grapes are vinified separately in stainless steel. Maceration in the press at room temperature and subsequent static clarification. Fermentation in stainless steel at 20 degrees C, racking and blending of the wines. Aged for approximately 10 months on the fine lees and subsequently aged in bottle. The nose offers floral nuances of orange blossom and fruity notes of apricot, sage, fern, and sweet almond with saline sediments. Straw yellow. Slender and delicate, with consistent aromatic returns that pervade the sip.
