Description
Still rosé Chiaretto di Bardolino DOC, 12.5% ABV, produced by Corte Giara - Allegrini. Blend of Corvina, Molinara, and Rondinella, 2024 vintage. A wine born from the Allegrini family's passion for the Veneto region, combining tradition and innovation. The grapes are harvested by hand and subjected to cold maceration on the skins for 12–24 hours at 10°C to extract the color. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18°C for 10 days. Aged in stainless steel tanks for 3 months. Notes of strawberry, raspberry, and gooseberry on the nose are fresh and pleasant. On the palate, it has a nice acidity that pairs well with the juiciness of the mouthfeel, very balanced, and with a finish of small red fruits that lingers long on the finish.

| Production technique | The 2024 vintage confirmed the importance of strategic agronomic choices, in particular cultivation in hilly areas, which are fundamental to guaranteeing the quality and health of the grapes. After a mild winter and a rainy spring with below-average temperatures, the summer saw a sudden increase in heat, requiring careful water management to avoid stressing the vines. September brought milder temperatures and wide temperature ranges, favouring aromatic complexity. The adoption of climate monitoring technologies made it possible to optimise treatments and improve sustainability. The harvest, which began in mid-September, saw a balanced ripening, with healthy grapes of excellent quality. |
