Massimo Gianolli, successful businessman and wine enthusiast since his youth, met Stefano Falla, with whom he shared his passion, and together they created in 2005 a small-scale production, using a selection of grapes allocated for their first Amarone. This wine, as dictated by the strict production protocol, would be created four years later.
The registered offices and the showroom are in Milan (Via Giorgio Stephenson, 43A) while the vineyards and the estate are near Verona, on the Valpantena hills. The 45-hectare estate is adorned with vineyards and lush cherry trees, giving the brand its name. La Collina dei Ciliegi (Cherry Trees Hill) is known for its intense and strong-flavored red wines such as l’Amarone, il Corvina, il Valpolicella Superiore, il Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso and for its fresh and fine white wines Lugana e il Garganega.
La Collina dei Ciliegi’s wines are currently sold to premium Ho.Re.Ca operators and private connoisseurs/expert. Read more
