A still red from Piedmont, Barolo Ravera Vigna Elena Riserva, 15% ABV, produced by Cogno in Novello. 100% Nebbiolo, 0.75L bottle, 2017 vintage. A Barolo Riserva that celebrates the elegance of the Langhe terroir, with clean and complex aromas of rose, tobacco, mint, and licorice. The wine ages for 36 months in large 40hl Slavonian oak barrels. Garnet red in color, full and brilliant. On the palate, it is enveloping, warm, and full-bodied, revealing fresh spices and red berry fruit with pleasant tannins.

The Cogno Winery produces the principle wines of the Langhe. The winery owns about fifteen hectares of vineyard property in Novello, one of eleven townships in the province of Cuneo in which Barolo DOCG production is allowed.
The hills are world-renowned for their history, culture, and beauty, and they were recently recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage.
