Description
Blanc de Blancs Brut Champagne, produced by Charles Heidsieck in the Champagne region of France. 0.75L bottle. An iconic Champagne, made from Chardonnay grapes, it embodies the elegance and sophistication of the House founded in Reims in 1851. The aromas of mature Chardonnay are immediately recognizable: peach, candied citrus with notes of lime, hazelnut, and fresh hazelnut, giving way to subtle notes of mandarin and lemon. A pale, crystalline gold color with the typical highlights of the Chardonnay grape. The attack is pure and direct, not aggressive but almost unusually smooth for a Blanc de Blancs. The harmonious finish offers surprising minerality and a light salinity. Perfect as an aperitif, it pairs splendidly with fish and seafood dishes.
