Description
A sparkling rosé made using the Charmat method from Emilia-Romagna, produced by Castello Montesasso. 100% Sangiovese. 0.75 l bottle. A Prelude inspired by musical inspiration, serving as a symphonic introduction, just as our Spumante Rosé can be at the start of a convivial gathering, the first of many toasts. Hand-harvested in September. Long Charmat vinification. Obtained using the natural fermentation method in a closed autoclave. Aged for 9 months, 6 of which in autoclave on the lees and 3 in bottle. A full-bodied and intense bouquet with notes of rose petals and wild strawberries. A bright antique pink color. A sparkling wine with a distinct freshness, with hints of red fruits and notes of bread crust. A rosé that captivates with its freshness and versatility, perfect as an aperitif or to accompany light dishes.

All the seasonal care of the vineyards is done almost entirely by being directly involved, because this is my way to gain the knowledge and expertise in order to improve a winemaking approach and enhance the wine-identity of this territory. It is my choice to be a small and personal winery. Thus was born the idea of converting the land surrounding the property into vineyards, re-establishing the wine-growing vocation of the past and starting a tourist hospitality in the renovated farmhouse.
Today the company consists of three hectares of vineyards, cultivated with Sangiovese, Famoso and Riesiling, one hectare of vine rootstock and six hectares of woodland and we are a rural family farm. Read more
