Still red Rosso di Montalcino DOC, 15% ABV, produced by Casanova di Neri, founded in 1971 by Giovanni Neri. 0.75 L bottle, 2021 vintage. A Rosso di Montalcino that expresses the soul of Sangiovese, with careful vinification and 15 months of aging in tonneau. The nose is intriguing and sensual, with notes of dark red fruit, particularly cherry and blueberry. On the palate, it is rounded and generous, with soft, velvety tannins and a persistent, balanced finish.
