A still red from the heart of Tuscany, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, 14% ABV, 100% Sangiovese. Produced by Casanova di Neri, founded in 1971. 0.75 L bottle, 2020 vintage. A Brunello that embodies the passion and dedication of a family that has turned winemaking into a true art. Harvest: October 4th to 12th. Fermentation and maceration for 21 days. Aged in oak barrels for 45 months. Intense ruby red color tending towards garnet. Distinctive and intense aroma. Dry, warm, slightly tannic, robust, harmonious, and persistent flavor. A wine that best expresses the character of Sangiovese di Montalcino, ideal for pairing with red meats, game, and aged cheeses.

| Wine making | After the grapes have been harvested, which is done strictly by hand, the bunches are transported to the winery, where they are checked on a sorting table to remove any parts that are not deemed suitable for the high quality to be achieved. A machine then separates the grapes from the stalks, which fall onto a further sorting table. The grapes, thus selected, go by gravity into the vats, where the vinification process takes place. |
