Description
A still white wine from Veneto, Lugana DOC, 14% ABV, produced by Ca Maiol. A Lugana Riserva that expresses the complexity of Trebbiano di Lugana, with a winemaking process that enhances its characteristics. Vintage 2021. Ca Maiol has been interpreting the Lake Garda region with wines of great personality since 1967. Vinification and maturation take place partly in French oak barriques and tonneaux and partly in stainless steel for over a year. Great complexity and breadth of aromas—citron, yellow melon, lightly spicy hints of cumin and ginger. The wine evolves in the glass with hints of pearl barley, yellow peach, and lavender. Intense straw yellow with golden highlights. Persuasive and enveloping to the touch like an embrace, its freshness and savory flavors create a dynamic and juicy sip with aromatic hints of yellow-fleshed fruit, sweet spices, and saffron.

Starting with a single farmhouse, over the decades it has expanded both in terms of structures and vineyards, thus expanding a unique offer for the denomination. We are in the Lugana area, a harmony of flavours and atmospheres that extends south of Lake Garda over a unique territory.
The calcareous soil, the result of a millennial process, and the typical lake climate contribute to making this an ideal place for growing vines. It is here that delicate white wines with an unmistakable freshness are born, wines that are genuine expressions of the territory in which they are born. Read more
