Description

A still organic red wine from Puglia, 14% ABV, produced by Bpuntoio (Terre Cevico). 100% Primitivo, a grape variety that is a symbol of Puglia. 0.75 L bottle, 2024 vintage. A wine born from a virtuous project that promotes the most traditional grape varieties, helping to maintain biodiversity and viticultural landscapes. After removing the stems, the Primitivo grapes are not pressed to leave them intact, reducing damage to the skins and optimizing color extraction. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 24-25°C for 8-10 days. Frequent pumping over and delestage are performed during the early stages of fermentation to enhance the aromas and tannins. A complex bouquet reminiscent of cherries, dried berries, and toasted almonds. Intense red color. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet soft and elegant, with a long, pleasant finish.

From this winery
The b.io project draws its "sap" from the historic roots of Terre Cevico. Not only in Emilia-Romagna: the b.io wines also come from other areas that are ideal for the cultivation of organic grapes, such as Sicily and Puglia.

Our objective? To extend this virtuous project to other Regions of Italy, creating a sustainable fabric of winemakers that celebrates the best that our land can produce thanks to respect and attention towards the future.

b.io highlights the quality of the most traditional grape varieties, contributing to maintaining biodiversity and the viticultural landscapes, with small plots of vines interspersed among orchards, olive groves, meadows and arable land: from the vine-growers directly to consumers, so that they can have good, high-quality wines on their tables.
