Description
Classic Method Extra Brut Champagne, 12.5% ABV, produced by Bollinger in the Champagne region of France, 2008 vintage. Blend: 60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay. 0.75L bottle. A great Champagne, R.D. Extra Brut, embodying the powerful, refined, and complex style of the Bollinger house. Aromas of ripe fruit, quince, but also subtle notes of honey. Toasted cocoa notes emerge in a second phase, giving way to hints of anise and nutmeg. Golden with subtle golden highlights. The attack is meaty. Balanced in power, yet also with great persistence. Mineral finish with notes of lemon.
