Description

Vermentino di Sardegna Unda, still white wine, 13.5% ABV, produced by Bentu Luna. A Vermentino born in the heart of the ancient Giudicato of Arborea, between the hills of Barigadu and Mandrolisei, where the Moratti family cultivates its vineyards with respect and passion. 100% Vermentino. Fruity aromas on the nose, accompanied by herbaceous notes reminiscent of the Mediterranean scrub. Straw yellow in the glass, the wine is fresh, harmonious, and savory on the palate, with a pleasant finish that invites another sip.

In the heart of the ancient Giudicato di Arborea, among the hills of Barigadu and Mandrolisei, small vineyards of no more than one hectare each are preserved, testimony to the Sardinian rural soul that, in a timeless symbiotic relationship, respects woodland and granite landscapes that are among the wildest on the island. The sandy, granite decaying soils are still worked with oxen and are home to typical varieties such as bovale, cannonau and other indigenous Sardinian varieties.

The Bentu Luna winery, a new project of the Moratti family, is located in Neoneli, a village of pre-Nuragic origin modelled on the typical red trachyte, rich in ancestral memories such as the tenores choirs and the carnival animated by the soc Corriolos masks and bonfires in the square. A strategic choice, therefore, aimed at highlighting unexplored and authentic parts of the rural tradition.
