Description

Still red from Piedmont, Barolo DOCG, 14% ABV, produced by Bel Colle. 100% Nebbiolo, 0.75L bottle, 2019 vintage. A Barolo that embodies the tradition of Verduno, with aromas of red fruits and notes of violet that anticipate an intense and persistent palate. Bel Colle cultivates the great traditional grape varieties, but also gives voice to rare and precious varieties. Ruby red in color with garnet highlights. On the palate, the wine is intense and very persistent, with elegant tannins and a long finish.

We are in Verduno, on the hills of Barolo, a natural treasure nested between Alba and La Morra, a luminous amphitheatre where the King of wines "Barolo" finds some of its finest and most delicate expressions. In our vineyards we grow the great traditional grape varieties: Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto and Moscato. But we also give voice to rare and precious varieties, our pearls of Langa: Nascetta, Favorita and especially Pelaverga, of which we are the largest producers in Piedmont. In the winery we use passion and experience: our philosophy of winemaking is according to artisan tradition, without forcing. Our goal is to enhance the identity of the grape variety while indulging in our wines’ natural propensity for excellence. Read more
