Description

Still organic red wine from Piedmont, 14.5% ABV, 100% Nebbiolo, produced by Bel Colle. 0.75L bottle, 2021 vintage. A Barbaresco from the hills of Neive, a wine that embodies the elegance and complexity of Nebbiolo. Vinification involves fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, post-fermentation maceration, racking after 22-25 days, and malolactic fermentation completed while maintaining a constant temperature throughout. Aged for 24 months in oak barrels, followed by 6 months in bottle. On the nose, the bouquet reveals typical notes of small red fruits, plums, and cherries, which blend into a delicate, velvety, and balanced palate with pleasant acidity.

We are in Verduno, on the hills of Barolo, a natural treasure nested between Alba and La Morra, a luminous amphitheatre where the King of wines "Barolo" finds some of its finest and most delicate expressions. In our vineyards we grow the great traditional grape varieties: Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto and Moscato. But we also give voice to rare and precious varieties, our pearls of Langa: Nascetta, Favorita and especially Pelaverga, of which we are the largest producers in Piedmont. In the winery we use passion and experience: our philosophy of winemaking is according to artisan tradition, without forcing. Our goal is to enhance the identity of the grape variety while indulging in our wines’ natural propensity for excellence. Read more
