Still red Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, 13.5% ABV, produced by Barbicaia. 100% Sangiovese, 2019 vintage. A Nobile di Montepulciano that expresses the soul of Sangiovese, with an elegance and complexity that make it a truly prestigious wine. Notes of mulberry and sour cherry open to hints of Mediterranean scrub, cinnamon, licorice root, and aromatic herbs. Full-bodied, balanced by impeccably crafted tannins, it closes with a virtually endlessly persistent finish.
