Description
Still biodynamic red wine from Tuscany, 12.5% ABV, produced by Ampeleia. 100% Cabernet Franc. 0.75L bottle, 2022 vintage. Ampeleia was founded in 2002, an ambitious project aimed at producing wines that respect nature and the terroir. Clay-rich soil is marked by typical Galestro and Palombini limestone rocks. Harvested in mid-September, the wine ages for 10 months in concrete vats. A vibrant, varietal menthol note harmonizes with a fresh, never boring fruit. Persistent mineral notes on the finish invite you to drink more.

They wanted to farm in a place that was beautiful but out of the ordinary, away from the stereotypes around which the world of wine revolves. Read more
