Pertois-Lebrun

Our history goes back to the early 1900s, when our family began to produce and sell its own champagne. Several generations of winegrowers continued this family legacy finally resulting in the creation of the Pertois-Lebrun brand in 1955, following the marriage of Paul Pertois, a winegrower from Cramant, to Françoise Lebrun, a winegrower from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.

When they retired twenty years ago, one of their three daughters, Odile, took over the management of the business, continuing the work of her predecessors.

2007 marked the start of another chapter in the story, with the arrival of her nephew Clément. Representing the fifth generation of winegrowers in the family, and happy to remain close to nature working the soil and the vines, he passed his BPREA (French agricultural management certificate) in Avize before joining the operation at the age of 28. Full of motivation and enthusiasm he set about improving the terroir and modernizing the business, bringing new impetus to the family brand.

In early 2013 his younger brother Antoine, having graduated from business school, decided to abandon his career as a consultant in Paris and to follow the same path as Clément. Attracted by the charm of his family heritage and the entrepreneurial challenge, he has dedicated himself to the management of the business with his aunt, with a view to revitalizing commercial activity.

It is thus with constantly renewed motivation and commitment that from generation to generation, our traditions and ancestral knowledge has been passed down to the present day to offer you the fruit of several lives' work: Champagne Pertois-Lebrun.
