Luigi Spertino

Spertino Family is a classic example of great family tradition that with enormous passion produces a great Barbera d'Asti and one of the best Grignolini in Piedmont. In the winery, located in Mombercelli, in the Monferrato Astigiano area, for generations the grapes of the territory have been enhanced by giving character, personality and typicality to the wines produced.

Today the company is run by Mauro Spertino, an unstoppable farmer winemaker who gets excited every time he is faced with a new harvest. The vineyards in the locality of Mandorle rise on grassy soils with a great slope and all the operations are carried out manually, no tractors to prevent the soil from becoming too compact. In the winery Mauro works in a respectful and artisan way, little interventionist, letting the nectar turn into wine. Excellent as always the Barbera d'Asti Superiore Vigna la Mandorla that best reflects who creates it.
