Glenmorangie

In 1843 an ex-brewery was converted into a distillery by William Matheson, which in fact sanctioned the birth of the Glenmorangie Distillery. Located in the North Highlands region, so in the northern part of Scotland stretching out to the North Sea, Glenmorangie has faced numerous vicissitudes over the years.

At present, with 16 employees, a number that has been routinely kept unchanged for 150 years, Glenmorangie, which is by no means called the "Distillery of the 16 Men", continues to produce prestigious and high quality Whiskey.

Using over five meters tall algae, very pure distillates are produced, which are left to mature in special bunks, previously used for the aging of Sauternes, Sherry, Pedro Ximenez, SuperTuscan and Porto. Whiskeys exceptional, renowned and appreciated unanimously by all the most demanding lovers of the category.
