Divina Clementia

Divina Clementia is a unique wine, produced in very limited quantities made with our best Mencia grapes that come from our tiny family owned plots of nearly a century situated in the Ribeira Sacra, in Galicia - Spain.

The winemaking tradition in this region of Galicia is attributed to the Romans who used the wooded hillsides to cultivate vines. Later it were the monks living at the many monasteries located in the valleys of the Sil and Miño, who took care of growing vines and making wine. Clementia the Roman Goddess of forgiveness and mercy, gives her name to the main variety of the Ribeira Sacra grape called Mencia
