Description
A dry still white wine from Emilia-Romagna, 14% ABV, 100% Albana. Produced by Zavalloni Azienda Agricola in Cesena. 0.75 L bottle, 2023 vintage. The winery, now in its sixth generation of winemakers, passionately cultivates the hills of Cesena. Aged for 4 months in stainless steel with batonnage on its lees before bottling. Straw yellow with golden highlights. The bouquet boasts an extraordinarily powerful and persistent aromatic complexity, with notes of cyclamen and jasmine. Softness and roundness immediately demonstrate its quality. The opening is warm and convincing, with the alcohol and structure commending with an intensely fresh and savory wine. A lovely finish enlivened by a light touch of tannins.
