Considered one of the best Spanish rums, Williams & Humbert Ron Dos Maderas 5+5 Anos is produced by Bodegas William & Humbert, one of the most prestigious wineries in the world. Its unique history spans two continents, two cultures, and a profound respect for tradition. The long production process began in two places renowned for growing sugar cane: Barbados, famous for the purity of its water, and the Republic of Guyana, a land where the combination of warm, humid microclimates produces an aromatic rum unlike any other in the world. Added to this is the brilliant intuition of the winery's Master Blenders: the rum must age in barrels that have previously contained internationally recognized sherries. A subtle thread that links past and present, giving Williams & Humbert Ron Dos Maderas 5+5 Anos the strong and imposing character that only a prestigious tradition can generously bestow. The production process is characterized by a surprising peculiarity: double barrel aging. The initial blend is made up of the finest rums from Barbados and Guyana. Here in the Caribbean, the precious liqueur ages for 5 years in Bourbon barrels before embarking on a long journey to the winery's headquarters in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. In the company's historic premises, Williams & Humbert Ron Dos Maderas 5+5 Anos ages in barrels that have held famous and inimitable sherries: 3 years in the renowned Dos Cortados barrels and 5 years in Don Pedro Ximenez barrels.

The plants of the Bodegas Williamas & Humbert, considered the largest in Europe, are made up of a complex of connected buildings that occupy an area of ??about 180,000 square meters. The products of Bodegas combine tradition and know-how acquired over the centuries and expressed by the quality of its prestigious labels. The winery still retains wines and brandy that date back to the time of its foundation and obtained the National Architecture Award.
The vineyards belonging to the company are located in the triangle formed by Jerez de la Frontera, Puerto di Santa Maria and Sanlucar di Barrameda, an area that enjoys a particular and favourable microclimate due to the presence of the Guadalquivir and Guadalete rivers.
On the global scene, Williams & Humbert is developing an ambitious program of diversification of the high quality agri-food sector. Among the most innovative projects, there are the Rum Dos Maderas that are made and partially aged in the Caribbean, and then transferred to Jerez where they end up maturing.
