Description
Still organic red Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC Riserva, 14.5% ABV, produced by Valori. 100% Montepulciano, 2020 vintage. A wine that celebrates a passion for the land and dedication to quality, with an intense and enveloping expression. Founded by Luigi Valori in Sant'Omero in 1996. Aged in new barriques for 18-20 months. Generous aromas: fruity notes of black cherry and currant, vegetal notes of beetroot juice, mineral notes of ink, and ethereal notes of enamel and camphor, complemented by a fine oaky finish. Impenetrable ruby. The palate is full-bodied with warmth and a dense, noble tannin structure, balanced by acidity and a salty savoriness.

Valori is a modern and up-to-date winery, rooted in one of the best wine-making areas of Abruzzo, the Teramo Hills, where it stretches over 14 hectares between the villages of Sant’Omero and Controguerra.
