Description
What kind of wine is it
Tramin T Cuvée Bianco is a still white wine from the Vineyards of the Dolomites, a clear expression of Cantina Tramin. This harmonious mountain blend combines Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Riesling and Sauvignon. In the glass, it displays a straw yellow colour with golden highlights, releasing a bouquet characterised by distinct apple notes and white flowers. Vinified in steel without malolactic fermentation, on the palate it stands out for its light body, dry sip and a marked aromatic freshness, offering a persistent finish ideal for accompanying vegetables, risottos and fish dishes.
Where does it come from
The grapes are grown in the South Tyrolean areas of Termeno, Montagna, Egna and Ora. The vineyards are situated at an altitude between 250 and 900 metres, with optimal exposure to the south and south-west. The soil, with a solid calcareous base enriched with clay and gravel, ensures the ideal development of the vines. The climate is characterised by a strong temperature range, with warm days and nights cooled by mountain winds. These conditions enhance the work of Cantina Tramin, a winery founded in 1898 to protect authentic mountain viticulture.
How is it produced
Production begins with a meticulous manual harvest. This is followed by gentle pressing to extract a pure must, which ferments in small stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, thus preserving the integrity of the aromatic profile. To maintain the fruit's energy and the palate's tension, malolactic fermentation is not carried out. The result is a dynamic glass, capable of expressing the youthful and vibrant nature of the grape varieties it comprises.
