What kind of wine it is

Sylvain Pataille Marsannay Rouge is a still red that embodies the essence of French Pinot Noir. Visually, it displays an inviting ruby red hue. The bouquet opens with aromas of red fruits, harmoniously interwoven with spicy notes that enhance its complexity. On the palate, it is deep, silky and velvety, offering a balanced sip. Thanks to its structure, it pairs ideally with meat dishes, particularly pork, and enhances the flavour of mature cheeses.

Where it comes from

This wine originates in Burgundy, in the commune of Marsannay-la-Côte within the renowned Côte-d’Or. The Marsannay area is a prime territory for the cultivation of Pinot Noir. The constant dedication to the vineyards is reflected in a production that demonstrates a rigorous and attentive approach to showcasing Marsannay.

How it is produced

Made entirely from Pinot Noir grapes, the wine is crafted to faithfully reflect its original terroir. Characterised by significant ageing potential, estimated between ten and fifteen years, it promises excellent maturation.
