Description
Roundhouse Gin American Craft is produced in the Colorado region of the Midwest of the United States by the Roundhouse Spirits distillery. Founded and conceived by Ted Palmer, this small production company reflects the passion for distilling and brewing that the founder strongly desired in establishing his company located in Boulder. Roundhouse Gin is a type of gin that could be classified as New Western style, a trend in the world of distilling this aromatic spirit that affected production between the late 1990s and early 2000s. This gin is distilled in very small batches, by virtue of the distillery's focus on quality. Furthermore, it has unique characteristics. From a sensorial standpoint, this gin obviously recalls the classic botanicals traditionally used, first and foremost juniper, which in Roundhouse is present but certainly not excessive. This last aspect certainly makes it one of the gins that can satisfy the tastes of those who enjoy cocktails based on this aromatic drink but who don't particularly appreciate the flavor of juniper. In addition to the traditional notes, Roundhouse Gin also adds sencha green tea, of Japanese origin, lavender, hibiscus, and chamomile flowers to its aromatic bouquet. These floral notes help make Roundhouse gin a delicate drink, which appeals to a wide range of tastes thanks to its versatility.
