Description
What kind of wine is it
Champagne Pertois-Moriset Les Quatre Terroirs is a sparkling wine that clearly embodies its place of origin. This Blanc de Blancs is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, using the strict Traditional Method. In the glass, it displays a pale straw yellow colour, a prelude to an aromatic profile centred on complex notes of dried fruit. On the palate, it is subtle and pleasantly dry, distinguished by a fine creaminess and a persistent smoky note.
Where does it come from
This wine is produced in the renowned Champagne region of France. The cuvée is a blend of the finest expressions from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, enriched by grapes from vineyards in Oger, Cramant and Chouilly, all classified as Grand Cru. The Pertois-Moriset winery is a solid family-run business operating as a récoltant-manipulant, directly overseeing the entire production process. The use of sustainable and organic farming practices allows the cultivation of Chardonnay in full respect of the natural environment.
How is it produced
The production of this label aims to enhance an essential and vertical profile. The Extra Brut dosage accentuates the wine’s natural gustatory tension, creating a texture of great elegance. Made through the slow ageing on the lees typical of the Traditional Method, it boasts a structure suitable for medium-term cellaring. Served well chilled, it is ideal for accompanying delicate selections of starters, fish dishes and shellfish, and also proves to be a harmonious pairing with various types of cheese.

The House’s history began through the marriage between Yves Pertois and Janine Moriset, the son and daughter of two former winemaking families in the Côte de Blancs.
In 1951, the couple decided to create the brand Pertois-Moriset, which continued to develop as their son Dominique and his wife Florence joined the House.
Today, The House is managed by their granddaughter Cécile and her husband Vincent. The surface of the vineyard is 20.70 hectares, spread over two terroirs: the Côte de Blancs which is around 13.4 hectares, and the Coteaux Sézannais which is around 7.30 hectares. Read more
