Description
Still white wine from Burgundy, 13.5% ABV, produced by Louis Lequin. 100% Chardonnay, 2019 vintage. A Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru that embodies the excellence of Burgundy, a wine born from a careful selection of grapes and a vinification that enhances its complexity. Domaine Louis Lequin cultivates vineyards in Santenay, Chassagne-Montrachet, Pommard, Corton, and Nuits Saint Georges. The result is a golden yellow wine with a bouquet revealing fruity aromas, spicy notes, and minerality. On the palate, the wine is balanced, with an elegant structure and a lingering finish.

Pairings
I prune the Pinot Noir vines according to the Cordon de Royat method; this allows me to limit the yield, to aerate the vine and to give more sunlight to the grapes. These factors give greater grape maturity, more colour and more flavour. Read more
