Letrari Dosaggio Zero is a Traditional Method sparkling wine that embodies the purity of the Trentino region, presented without added sugars. Created from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, it displays a refined aromatic profile with notes of green apple, white flowers, lime zest and subtle hints of bread crust. The palate is notably vertical, supported by a creamy texture and a fine, persistent perlage. The taste is savoury, mineral and offers a dry, harmonious finish.

Where it comes from

The grapes are grown in Vallagarina, a renowned area in the heart of Trentino. The vines thrive on calcareous and gravelly soils of the Dolomite hills, a factor that gives the wine a distinct mineral character. The microclimate, influenced by the proximity of Lake Garda and the Adige valley, preserves the natural acidity of the grapes. This combination of altitude and ventilation results in a vibrant freshness, lending essential elegance to this expression of Trento.

How it is produced

Production begins with the manual harvest of the grapes in the Letrari vineyards. The varieties ferment separately in stainless steel tanks to preserve the primary aromas, before being blended. The secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Traditional Method, followed by ageing on the lees for at least twenty-four months. The absence of dosage enhances the essence of the fruit, resulting in a profoundly dry, refreshing sip characterised by a soft, well-integrated mousse.

Born in the heart of Trentino, Trento DOC Dosaggio Zero is a testament to the dedication of the Letrari family, winegrowers since 1647 and master sparkling wine producers since 1976. Under the expert guidance of oenologist Lucia Letrari, the prized vineyards of Vallagarina give rise to a masterpiece crafted according to the Traditional Method. Following secondary fermentation in the bottle and meticulous ageing on the lees for at least twenty-four months, an authentic pas dosé with no added sugars takes shape: a vibrant and profoundly dry glass, celebrated by wine guides.

Shaped by the specific terroir and microclimate of Vallagarina - an environment influenced by the time of the Adige and Lake Garda, which here creates a special microclimate of the Mediterranean type - we produce 25 different types of quality wine with strong varietal typicity.

Letrari The farm, with its 23 hectares of vineyards located in different places of Vallagarina, has its headquarters in a modern and functional cellar Rovereto, Trentino faithful in appearance rural architecture and is surrounded by a garden of Mediterranean species .

Our wines come from grapes grown in vineyards located property in the best areas of the Earth Vallagarina and Strong. Among the red wines reserve particular attention to the native varieties, such as the gentle and fruity Marzemino, Teroldego fatter, a tangy Lagrein. To complete the production of a selected range Letrari Brut sparkling classics, all made from grapes Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and processed with the classical method of secondary fermentation in the bottle, according to strict production rules Trentodoc.
