Description
What kind of wine it is
Champagne Lamiable Grand Cru Brut Terre d’Etoiles is a sparkling wine of great prestige, crafted according to the strict timings of the Traditional Method. The result of a harmonious blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, it appears in the glass with a bright straw yellow colour, enhanced by golden reflections and a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, it reveals an elegant profile, characterised by clear floral and fruity aromas. The palate entry is fresh and creamy, with an enveloping sip recalling notes of fruit, citrus peel and delicate pastry, finishing with a pleasantly mineral aftertaste.
Where it comes from
This wine originates from the areas of Tours-sur-Marne and Bouzy, located in the heart of the Champagne region. The Grand Cru classification certifies that the grapes come from highly prized vineyards, capable of giving all Champagne produced by the estate an extremely precise flavour profile. Production is meticulously overseen by the Lamiable family, who personally follow every stage of the process, from the vineyard to the cellar. The characteristics of these renowned soils are directly reflected in a tense and clean character, enhancing the structural finesse typical of the area.
How it is produced
The secondary fermentation in the bottle, as required by the Traditional Method, concludes with a Brut dosage that clearly defines the balance and elegance of the sip. Thanks to the quality of the raw material, the wine has an ageing potential ranging from five to ten years. Served at a temperature between 6 and 8 °C, it is an ideal accompaniment for shellfish and sushi, and also fully enhances fried seafood dishes. Its enveloping nature pairs perfectly with soft cheeses, supporting pairings from aperitif through to main fish courses.
