Description
What kind of wine it is
Barbaresco Bordini by La Spinetta is a still organic red wine that expresses the authenticity of the Nebbiolo grape variety. On the palate, it is structured and complex, characterised by a vivid freshness and soft tannins that lead to a broad and persistent finish. The bouquet opens with aromas of redcurrant, raspberry and preserved peaches, enriched by spicy hints of nutmeg, ginger and notes of wild fennel. Ideal paired with red meats and game, this vegan and unfiltered wine perfectly enhances the most intense flavours of fine cuisine.
Where it comes from
This elegant wine originates from the renowned Bordini vineyard, located in the municipality of Neive, in the heart of Barbaresco, Piedmont. The vines grow at around two hundred and seventy metres above sea level, sinking their roots into calcareous and mineral-rich soils that impart a distinct territorial character and a well-defined tannic structure to the wine. The continental climate, marked by significant temperature variations, combines with excellent sun exposure and cool Alpine breezes. These ideal pedoclimatic conditions favour a slow ripening of the Nebbiolo grapes, essential for the development of deep and multifaceted aromas.
How it is produced
The production of this Barbaresco begins with a rigorous manual harvest, aimed at selecting only the best bunches. After destemming, maceration with alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks for about fourteen days, a preliminary phase to malolactic fermentation. Ageing occurs for sixteen months in second-passage French oak barrels, allowing the aromatic profile to integrate harmoniously. After natural stabilisation in steel and further bottle ageing, the wine is bottled without filtration to preserve all its expressive purity.
History and Curiosities

Its elegant structure matures thanks to skilful ageing in French oak for sixteen months, followed by a necessary period of rest in the bottle. Bottled without filtration and suitable for vegans, this Piedmontese wine preserves aromatic purity for a memorable sip.
