Description
What kind of wine it is
Tabaka is a still white wine classified as Table Wine, resulting from a blend of Massarda, Vermentino and Viognier grapes. In the glass, it displays a straw yellow colour, with an olfactory profile alternating delicate floral notes with mineral hints of stone and earth. On the palate, it is dry, smooth and supported by great freshness and savouriness, which provide a harmonious finish. It expresses its qualities immediately, but can evolve positively with a few years of ageing.
Where it comes from
This white originates in Soldano, in the province of Imperia, thanks to the work of the Ka Mancine winery. Active since the late 1990s, the company manages an estate of just three hectares to deliver a genuine agricultural expression. The artisanal scale and limited yield allow every detail in the vineyard to be carefully attended to, making the most of the Ligurian coast microclimate. The result faithfully reflects the authentic territorial identity of its origin.
How it is produced
Production is based on a careful blend of Massarda, Vermentino and Viognier. Under the supervision of oenologist Daniela Serra, the cellar processes aim to preserve the utmost aromatic finesse and natural gustatory liveliness. Excellent as an aperitif, it is best served chilled to accompany seafood dishes. Its balanced structure makes it ideal for enhancing shellfish and cheeses, offering a pleasantly persistent drink.
History and Curiosities
Founded in 1998 in Soldano, Ka Mancine is a family-run winery in Liguria, deeply rooted in local traditions. The Tabaka 2023 continues this artisanal vocation, blending Massarda, Vermentino and Viognier grapes lovingly cultivated on just three hectares of vineyard. The limited production, overseen by oenologist Daniela Serra, ensures meticulous attention to every detail. Able to evolve elegantly over three to five years, this label perfectly embodies the spirit of the company: to offer genuine wines that celebrate the authenticity of their place of origin.

Thus began the adventure of Maurizio Anfosso dei Mancinei and his family, who, seizing the legacy of their ancestors, were able to give life to an extraordinary wine, with multiple nuances but with a soul as sincere as the land from which it comes. Read more
