Description
Wine style
Where Dreams is a still white wine produced by Jermann that highlights the distinctive characteristics of Chardonnay with the Venezia Giulia Indicazione Geografica Tipica (IGT) designation. In the glass, it expresses a broad and velvety profile, supported by a fresh acidity that balances its structure. The bouquet ranges from ripe exotic fruit to baked apple, with nuances of yellow flowers and honey. Hints of melted butter, vanilla, and pastry are the result of expert ageing in wood, capable of giving the palate a clear aromatic persistence.
Provenance
The grapes are grown in the vineyards of Dolegna del Collio and Villanova di Farra, located in the Venezia Giulia area. The vines, trained using the Guyot system, root in soils composed of sandy marl and marly sandstone. This specific soil composition promotes an ideal balance between richness of flavour and tension, ensuring excellent aromatic definition. The chosen name is a tribute to the winery's passion for music and is inspired by the famous album The Joshua Tree.
Production
The production of Where Dreams aims to maintain the integrity of the fruit for perfect consistency between nose and palate. The wine ages for eleven months in small French oak barrels, developing body and a delicate sweet spiciness. The evolution in wood elegantly integrates buttery notes with natural freshness, leading to a persistent and clean finish. Thanks to its complex structure, it pairs exceptionally well with lean fish and shellfish, as well as enhancing pasta dishes and cheese selections.

Created in 1987, Where Dreams Have No End celebrates the vision of Silvio Jermann and U2’s album “The Joshua Tree”. Its famous label, which has evolved over the years through depictions of lunar phases, planets and comets, even appeared in the film “The Parent Trap”. An emblem of a winery founded in 1881, this white wine combines cosmic inspirations with an enveloping and elegant sensory experience.

1930-1940: Angelo Jermann, who is 93 today, not only continues the family's grape-growing tradition but also keeps livestock and transforms Jermann into an all-around, successful farm.
1971-1973: Silvio Jermann, son to Angelo and Bruna and an enology graduate of both Conegliano and San Michele, revolutionizes the Jermann winery after a research sabbatical overseas, creating Vintage Tunina.
1975: Official release of Vintage Tunina, which fast achieves cult status and effectively launches Jermann's new course.
