Description
Hendrick's Gin is a Scottish spirit, created in 1999 by William Grant's family. One of the characteristics that makes this gin special is the infusion of local cucumber, juniper, and rose petals from Bulgaria, which give the spirit a decidedly unique character. In 2003, it was named by the Wall Street Journal as the best gin in the world. Since then, its quality has earned it worldwide recognition, receiving several gold and silver medals between 2008 and 2012. The Grant family has undertaken one of the most important challenges, that of producing spirits, aiming primarily to faithfully imitate ancient processes, using simple yet highly efficient tools. According to the traditional recipe, the stills in which the gin is produced are anchor-shaped, inside which the distillate absorbs considerably all the botanical aromas. Hendrick's Gin is produced in extremely small containers, allowing for more rigorous and selective control. Furthermore, by fermenting in confined spaces, the gin is able to absorb and capture all of its distinctive flavors in the best possible way. Every detail is meticulously crafted to make this gin a one-of-a-kind product. This attention to detail is evident even in the bottle closure, which uses innovative corks.

The recipe for the essences includes the addition of rose petals from Bulgaria and locally produced cucumbers. Production at Hendrick's takes place in very small batches of 450 litres, so that all characteristics can be controlled and the highest possible quality achieved.
Attention is also noted in the details, such as the capping that instead of being the classic screw cap it is made of cork. You can look everywhere for a gin like this, but it is impossible to find it. Read more
