Description
What kind of wine it is
The GB Sans - Spatburgunder is a still semi-aromatic rosé crafted by Georg Breuer and hailing from the Rheingau. This label offers all the pleasure of Pinot Noir. The bouquet stands out for its remarkable clarity, with distinct citrus notes intertwined with delicate fruity nuances. On the palate, it delivers a pleasant sensation, revealing itself as a fresh, balanced and juicy wine, ideal for a light and immediately enjoyable drink.
Where it comes from
The grapes grow in the vineyards of Rüdesheim, Rauenthal and Lorch, in the heart of the German region of Rheingau. The Georg Breuer estate, rooted in the area since the nineteenth century, boasts properties in prestigious sites such as Berg Schlossberg, Nonnenberg and Pfaffenwies. The influence of these terroirs gives the wine a profound aromatic clarity and a pronounced natural freshness. This particular microclimate shapes the profile of the rosé, enhancing its crisp citrus notes.
How it is produced
The vinification aims to preserve the expressive integrity of the Pinot Noir variety. Every stage is designed to enhance the wine's olfactory clarity and ensure an agile, light structure. Characterised by an ageing potential ranging from three to five years, it offers an immediate and gratifying sip. In the kitchen, it lends itself to harmonious pairings, elegantly accompanying fish dishes and cheese selections.
History and Curiosities
