Description
What kind of wine it is
Fuoripista Pinot Grigio by Foradori is a still organic wine from the Vigneti delle Dolomiti denomination. Its colour displays captivating copper highlights, heralding an aromatic profile defined by yellow-fleshed fruit, nuts, sweet spices and pronounced mineral notes. On the palate, the texture is intense and structured, offering almost tannic sensations that blend into a fresh and savoury finish. This intriguing artisanal orange wine maintains a constant balance between the richness of the fruit and a persistent finish with hints of wildflowers, delivering a dynamic and enveloping drinking experience.
Where it comes from
The grapes come from the heart of Campo Rotaliano, in the area of Mezzolombardo, an environment that gives a strong identity to the Vigneti delle Dolomiti denomination. The vineyards are rooted in alluvial and gravelly soils, essential elements for imparting tension on the palate and clear mineral notes to the glass. This wine project was born from a collaboration with biodynamic winegrower Marco Devigili, aiming to enhance the most authentic soul of Pinot Grigio. The territorial interpretation is realised in a production of around ten thousand bottles, reflecting precise agronomic management fully immersed in the Dolomitic landscape.
How it is produced
The cellar process is distinguished by a deep focus on the fruit, through prolonged skin maceration in terracotta amphorae, called tinajas, for over eight months. This technical choice allows for the extraction of colour and tactile complexity, defining the taste structure of the Pinot Grigio. After resting, the wine is bottled without filtration, ensuring the utmost integrity of its aromatic expression. The careful amphora ageing guarantees a material and profound development, celebrating a style that perfectly preserves the balance between extractive density and freshness.
